![]() The bus arrived on time, and we departed right on schedule. From start to finish, the entire journey was an absolute pleasure, and I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable way to travel.įirst and foremost, the punctuality of the service was outstanding. I recently had the pleasure of using YVR Skylynx Whistler bus service for a trip from Vancouver to Whistler, and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. I would recommend YVR Skylynx to anyone looking for a efficient and cost effective solution to Whistler! I had such a great experience that I will only take them when I go to Whistler again! I also found out that they make stops in Downtown Vancouver as well! Y’all have a customer for life! Thanks YVR Skylynx and Mo (great driving skills!) It took roughly about 2.5 hours to get to the Whistler Village. The bus was exceptionally clean and seats were comfy. The whole overall ride was smooth and comfortable. He was super friendly, professional and an exceptional driver! I ain’t complaining!Ģ pieces of luggage were included which was ample for us as 1 piece was our boards and the other, a small hand carry.Īnyways, once we arrived, we walked out to Bay 9 (take a left) and were greeted by Mo. Also, since these prices are in CAD, with the US conversion rates, it made it even cheaper! (~ $50 USD). For these prices, it’s almost a no brainer to take this bus. For such a minimal difference, I didn’t want to take my chances. I went with the flexible RT ticket, which was $75 ($37.50 each way) compared to the non refundable ticket of $70.00 ($35 each way). If you are looking for a cost effective and efficient bus service to Whistler, look no further! I chose to fly into YVR Airport for a 3 day snowboarding Whistler trip with a couple buddies of mine. A stop in Squamish and Creekside makes the ride a lot longer than a direct (quite a lot longer than expected) Customer service phone line can seriously be hit or miss Higher cost (by quite a lot if buying multipacks) ![]() Nearly impossible to get weekend bookings less than 3-4 days in advance. Much smaller fleet, harder to get seats on busy days. Usually quick pick-up time on phone calls Rescheduling is pretty flexible given availability Drivers wait for you a little bit if you’re running late (<5 minutes) Bathroom (a lifesaver when there’s an accident on the sea to sky) If you see blue fuzz, just pop a painkiller in advance. About half the time you still get the buses with the fuzzy blue seats that are just incredibly uncomfortable (seats are horribly shaped for shorter people). ![]() Roomier/comfier seats, way more legroom, with flip down table and room to stow your purse, etc… BUT only sometimes. Shoutout to Bob, David, Derek, Harry, Cliff, and the other awesome drivers that I didn’t get the name of! Got stuck on the highway once for hours and the driver made conversation and jokes, played music and otherwise tried to keep everyone in a good mood. Michael has incredible character and professionalism and is a huge asset to the business - I will keep my business with SkyLynx in hopes of getting a ride with him again! During the trip, we had some wonderful conversation that informed me on events in Whistler I had not known about as a Vancouver local, and in spite of some phone calls he had to manage from what seemed to be the SkyLynx office, he was intently focused on the road, even-tempered and genuinely friendly. I had difficulty getting to the pickup point before the departure time that day and he kindly let me on the bus when I arrived almost right at 7, without any stress or fuss, ensuring I was securely settled before going over safety with everyone and departing. ![]() I’ve never experienced such professionalism and genuine care from a driver of any kind. I have trusted all my Whistler travel to SkyLynx for the quick yet always careful driving by the friendly drivers, comfort, and budget-friendly pricing but on my trip from the Hyatt pickup to Whistler on April 5th at 7pm, my usual expectations were even further exceeded by Michael.
